Company for interiors and landscape of New York, Rees Roberts + Partners, have created a truly impression with the design of the garden of the property on Dalmatian coast.
Clearly legible is balance between sophistication and tremendous respect for the old world which is caught here. Historical stone from which it was built up the building and its walls that descend to the ground, under the ravages of time have been preserved exactly the same way, but here the architects added a bit more charm and tenderness, adding water to the remaining walls and creating a pool of perimeter saved part. Beautiful views to the sea viewed from the blue of the pool and texture of old stones are another fascinating part of the solution.
Great respect in this project has natural tones, the age of the stone and texture. Some ancient walls remain intact allowing further to tell history through their materials exposed through weather, long period of time and use.
The garden is interwoven within the historic structures and materials, which always seems to be there.
